UPDATE: Primero Casa Filipino is officially closed.
My mom, my sister and I went to Primero Casa Filipino to try their all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. We didn’t wait to be seated. Possibly because we went for a late lunch after the lunch crowd has tapered off. Of the buffets that I tried in Manila, this was the best in terms of quality and price.
I love how good the food presentation and selection were. The place doesn’t overwhelm you with sheer number of food choices that you end up in a food coma. Even if it’s an all-you-can-eat buffet, you eat a lot of good quality food. You’re not just stuffing your face with mediocre food. In fact, you get good value for your money.
Here’s how it looks like inside Primero Casa Filipino.
The cream of the crop from that buffet for me were the Pork Sisig, Squash Cake, Satay Tofu with Garlic Confit, Roasted Angus Beef, Caprichon and the Turones Jackfruit with Butterscotch
There were other dishes from that buffet. Check out the photo gallery below.
Other buffet places should aspire to be like Primero Casa Filipino. Create a nice ambiance and serve good quality buffet food that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. Considering how much Filipinos enjoy food, I bet people will be eating there in droves.
