Liam’s and Louis Gourmet Cafe in Circulo Verde, Quezon City was a surprise discovery when we went there for dinner with an old friend.
We usually meet in either Quezon City or Pasig City, but this time, I wanted to be fair with the drive time or at least choose a spot equidistant to both parties. After I checked Google Maps to see the actual distance between his place and ours, I figured out the midpoint – it was in Quezon City’s Bagumbayan area. Eastwood City would’ve been the easiest choice, but I wanted to try a different place. Even if we’re here in Quezon City, we didn’t even know about Circulo Verde. It was the place to go.
We indulged in a meat-filled dinner, something we rarely do. Here’s what we had:
* Chef Quinn’s Roast Beef
* Spinach Artichoke with Baguette Toast
* Chopsuey
* Sticky Asian Pork Belly
* Crispy Bagnet Binagoongan
* Grapes and Basil Smoothie
Verdict: Liam’s and Louis Gourmet Cafe was a great find tucked inside the enclave of Circulo Verde. The atmosphere when we were there were cozy and relaxed. We enjoyed the incredibly rich flavor and tenderness of the meat dishes. The servers aimed to please without hovering while we ate. The restaurant itself is insta-worthy, but I didn’t take pictures because there was a private event when we went there. We were seated in a corner perfect for conversations and catching up. Overall, it’s great to find yet another quiet little restaurant to go back to in the future.
