Last night, I read an article that Cafe GUILT was a pet-friendly café off Scout Castor here in Quezon City. Today, I wanted to bring our furbabies there and hang out. As expected, we ended up ordering food for ourselves! 😁
Hubby got their Guilt Deep Fried Duck with Famous Harang Sauce.
I tried their Guilt-free Burger (vegan burger patty, lettuce, cheese, tomato with camote fries).
For our drinks, mine was the Strawberry Fruit Tea with black agar and hubby had the Sea Salt Macchiato with coffee jelly.
They even gave our furbabies some Puppaccino, so yay for their pretty good customer service!
What a guilty pleasure hanging out here! 😁
UPDATED March 29, 2023:
Today, we went back to Cafe GUILT; this time, with my mom and my sister. I’ve been wanting to bring them here because I thought that they’d enjoy the food and the ambiance.
My mom ordered Danggit.
My sister wanted to try their Bolognese. She can be quite picky with Bolognese, but she approved their version.
I had their Spicy Salmon Bowl with red rice, delicate salmon and fresh veggies with spicy and nutty dressing glazed on top.
Hubby is trying to be healthy, so he got their Healthy Inasal Bowl with marinated grilled chicken on top of red rice with mixed veggies.
My mom and my sister had Iced Tea and Orange Juice.
Hubby ordered Charcoal Lemonade and I had my Strawberry Fruit Tea with Black Agar again.
Verdict:
Hubby and I were initially confused by the name of this place – Cafe GUILT – when we saw the guilt-free options on the menu. We were expecting sinful sweets and desserts that will test whether or not we’ll give in to temptation. But when I checked their Facebook Page, I realized that their tagline says, “guilt-free * full of guilt” and they described themselves as a “Neighborhood café for your guilt-free or guilt-full comfort food cravings.” So that took care of our confusion.
Hubby and I both loved what we ate and even more so when they welcomed our furbabies. I loved their food, their customer service, and their ambiance. It’s just unfortunate that they don’t have a lot of parking space.
Our second visit confirmed our initial impression of the place. We went here for the first time last January and then again late last month. I think we’d still go back for a third time. : )
