After going to the Taste Trekkers Tens and the Edible Sessions, the much-anticipated last leg of Foodie Day was the Hope & Main Tasting Pavilion back in the ballroom. When we were finished with The Flavors of Miami, I stopped by for a quick chat with these folks below.
Then it was off to the ballroom! The first exhibitor was the Vermont Cheese Council with Mr. Tom Bivins, Executive Director. I didn’t get to take pictures of each exhibitor because I was busy eating! 🙂
Executive Chef Tim McGrath of Waterman Grille hard at work with his Braised Short Rib.
American Lamb’s Chef Jeff Landry willingly posed in front of his creation, Braised Lamb Neck.
Here’s the Queen Bee from the American Honey Tasting Society. Sweet!
It turns out that I didn’t take a picture of The Cupcake Contessas Marylee and Karianne (my bad!). It was a real pleasure talking to these ladies. I’m crossing my fingers they’ll have their own space soon. They really deserve their own space because their cupcakes were just so moist and yummy!
Ever tried French Masala Curry popcorn? This lovely couple from the Biggest Little Popcorn Co. had samples that I just had to try. In case you’re wondering, the masala flavor was very subtle. Just enough to surprise you when you take a bite.
There you have it, my experience going for the first time to the 2014 Taste Trekkers Food and Travel Expo. Tons of information, plenty of good food, lots of friendly speakers and exhibitors. We’ll go again next year. How about you?

Fab pictures! Everything looks DELISH!
So glad you had the chance to meet Marina from Red Bee Honey! She has a wealth of information about bees, honey, and the eco-system.
Thanks, Bonnie! Everything WAS delish. 🙂 Too bad I didn’t get to take pictures of everything. A girl’s gotta eat!
Great you told me about Marina. She’s the Queen Bee creating buzz about honey!
