I was going to stop posting my amateur attempts, but since my husband decided to use the bento he chose, I couldn’t resist taking a picture. My sister Lynn wants me to chronicle my bento adventures.
Now what do we have here?
My husband’s bento is in between mine. I actually bought a smaller (and white) bento like his, but right now, I’m enjoying my two-tier bento so that’s what I’ll probably be using in the meantime.
Once again, nothing exciting with what’s in it. The only difference between his bento and mine – his has roast beef and Swiss roll-up; mine’s got turkey and provolone. Everything else – baby carrots, edamame, peanuts, Babybel, grape tomatoes and mixed greens – are the same. The dip for the baby carrots is peanut butter (not shown in the picture).
I’m still experimenting with how to light it properly. Honestly, I find taking food photos challenging.
I really look forward to eating them, can you believe that? I even use chopsticks for some reason, which makes some people look at me curiously. I don’t mind.
Hope you guys are enjoying my attempts at something new. : )
