The Aftermath: 2015 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival | Greenwich, CT

Yesterday, hubby and I were down in Greenwich, CT for the 2015 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival held at Roger Baldwin Park. It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, just perfect for spending the day outdoors at the Grand Tasting Tent.

Since it’s impossible to take photos of everything we ate and drank yesterday, I’ll just give you a nice selection. That’s why you better mark it on your calendar next year to attend.

This caused my downfall yesterday. Full Moonshine. Enough said.

The turnout was amazing. Check-in was pretty efficient. Free parking? Thumbs up! Amazing selection of food and drinks. Come to think of it, at some point, there were so many choices that it became difficult to decide.

It was our first time to attend this festival, so even with the schedule and map on hand, we were puttering around in confusion. We missed the chef demos, but we’ll strategize better next year. I did see Adam Richman and my chef crush Rocco Dispirito from afar. Seemed like too many people around them for me to join the fray.

Word of advice? While everything looks enticing, you don’t want to be too full, too drunk or both to savor anything. Trust me on this.

As first-time attendees, we’re happy that the positive feedback from previous years were all justified. We definitely enjoyed this event. We left at 5:30 PM already plotting to attend next year’s festival.
